I have been practising yoga for 14 years and have a 200hr certification in Teacher Training. I have taught at a university, group yoga and private yoga. I teach many styles of yoga from vinyasa to more slow, rejuvenating styles. All yoga is technically hatha yoga (ha – sun, tha – moon). I always tell my students that yoga is simply, yoga. However the student feels that day along with the students general goals, is what I teach. If the yoga is alongside an ayurvedic consultation, I will tailor the yoga to balance the constitution.
Meditation has been part of my life for longer. The wonderful thing about meditation is the many ways that you can meditate. I have completed a Jeffrey Allen course in energy meditation. His course has been an absolute game changer in how I guide others. I am able to give a few options in the same meditation as some people are more visual, some more sentient and some more audible.
